The American Buffalo is a North American species that rooms the grasslands of North America. They became nearly extinct in the 19th century as a result of commercial hunting and slaughter. These animals are herbivores that graze on the grasses and sedges of North American prairies. Their daily activities include two-hour periods of grazing, resting and cud chewing. Then they move to new locations to graze again.
