The Badger is an omnivore that has a short, fat body with short legs for digging. They have a elongated weasel-like head with small ears. Their tails vary in length by species;they have black faces with distinctive white markings; gray bodies with a light-coloured stripe from head to tail; and dark legs with light-coloured underbellies. Their behavior differs by family but all take shelter underground living in burrows called setts. Some are solitary, moving from home to home. While others form clans called cetes.
